I went in for some sculptra injections after noticing that my face was looking a bit saggy and tired. I did a bunch of research and sculptra seemed to have a ton of good reviews online and it is supposed to last much longer than any other fillers so that is why I chose it. After the injections, I was lumpy and noticed some skin discoloration around the injected areas. That has all since gone away and I look much better now than I did before, but it wasn't worth going through that period of time when I felt like I couldn't leave the house.

I’m 43 and over the past few years I started to have more and more fine lines and wrinkles, and overall saginess, especially under my chin. So, I started to search for a treatment that would improve my skins elasticity, without causing major side effects. One of my friends recommended Thermage. I have only had 1 session and vast improvements have started to show. Sessions are kind of long (an hour or so) and pretty painful. After the session I also had a little redness that lasted for the rest of the day. All in all, I am happy with the treatment and I recommend Thermage to anyone wanting to take a few years off their face.

I had the first Sculptra greatment 6 weeks ago. I could tell a noticable difference, but my left cheek, upper lip and upper gums are still numb. I went to a second doctor for the second treatment one month late. I am wondering how long this numbness will last. I feel certain that the Sculptra product is putting pressure on a facial nerve. Will I have to wait until it totally dissapates until the feeling comes back? It is very annoying to eat without feeling in the lips. The cost of each treatment was 1100; however the doctor did not charge me for the second treatment since I was experiencin difficulties.

This is my 3rd time getting Juvederm (each 12 months apart). I got one syringe in my lips, lip line to fill fine lines and some in the nasolabial folds. The first time I'd say it wore off after about 10-11 months. After the 2nd time when I went in a year later I could definitely still feel it in my upper lip. This 3rd time I actually might be able to go 14 months or so. I'm always happy with the results. I am the type of person to get some swelling so come home a apply cold packs for a few minutes every 15-30 minutes for about 4 hours and I think that greatly helps. The first two years I had a little bruising but this year NONE which is great. Also, this year I had the Juvederm XC which just came out this week. Its not like it didn't hurt but it was MUCH better with the lidocaine then without. I didn't feel every excruciating poke. Instead the initial pokes hurt but then numbed the area so the rest of them became more like dull pinches. A much better experience for me.
