I’m 41 and I’ve started to show some wrinkles and mild age lines around my mouth. I’m not into all the cosmetic surgery obsession that seems to be plaguing our generation, but I want to feel good about myself. So, when my friend referred me to her doctor I made an appointment the next day. But it wasn’t exactly what I expected. The procedure was slightly uncomfortable. The doctor gave me a topical anesthetic, but still… not a pleasant experience. The good part was that results were visible right after the injection. My face was a little swollen, but it was only like that for a day or so and after that, I could see that my age lines were gone. Satisfied with Restylane, just wish it was a little bit less painful when I get it done.

I was by doctor Richard Blanachar - Bayview General Medicine in Fort Lauderdale and I will never go back! He did every eyes different and I look terrible and when I came back to ask him to fix it, he sad that it will costs me 550 USD more. I was very desapointed,I am tourist from Europe and I never had this bad experience before. He treat me nicely before I pay and when he screw up he didn´t even fix it. Don´t go there ever!

I DID THE RESTYLANE INJECTION AT THE MOUTH AREA BETWEEN THE NOSE AND LIP IN AUGUST 08. I STILL HAVE WHAT LOOKS LIKE SMALL KNOTS IN THIS AREA. I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS THE INJECTION OR THE INJECTOR.

I had thin lips so I went in for Restylane Injections. They hurt pretty bad, and I was red and swollen for a couple of days but it was totally worth it. I love the way that my face looks now!

I am a 42 year old woman. I think that I am aging pretty well, but I was looking for some help perking up my tired skin.
My doctor suggested Restylane. He didn't use any numbing cream so that I could get the maximum effect, so there was a little bit of pain, but overall it wasn't that bad.
My face had definitely perked up, and a lot of my co-workers keep asking me if I cut my hair or if I lost weight, they can't figure it out! I am really happy with this procedure.

I went in to get my laugh lines filled. It was 550 for one syringe, it hurt even with numbing cream, but knowing what I would look like after was the motivation that I needed. I have a great doctor who explained everything that I should expect, and so I think that helped. I will be doing this again for as long as I need to.

I had my first restylane injections in my laugh lines when I was 39. I had been looking through some photos from a vacation and I noticed how wrinkled my face was and how old that I appeared (especially standing next to my husband, men don't seem to age). It was a little painful, and I had some redness and swelling, but after that went away, I had a gorgeous, wrinkle free face. My results lasted for about 8 months, and then I went in again. The last time that I went, I had hardly any redness or swelling, and I haven't had to go back yet. That was over a year ago. These are amazing results!

My lips have always seemed small for my face, so after a couple of years of going back and forth, I decided to get them augmented. I didn't really know a lot about the different types of products that were out there, so I was kind of at the mercy of my doctor.
The pain overall was bearable. The doctor used topical numbing cream, and then a dental block, so I felt almost nothing while he was injecting me. After the numbing wore off, my lips were pretty sore and any pressure was painful, but it went away rather quickly.
After the initial swelling went down I was so happy with the way that my lips looked. They finally matched the rest of my features. I will definitely be doing this again.

I started getting Restylane injections done about 2 years ago. I am not that old and did not need it for any wrinkles per se, but I have always hated how deep my nasal labial folds are. I also have pretty thin lips so I get those plumped up as well. No one knows that I get the procedure done, and the results last for a really long time so I don't feel like I am shelling out a ton of money to look the way that I want. I will continue using restylane as long as I can and would recommend it to anyone.

Yesterday I went in and had Restylane injected under my eyes to fill in under eye circles. Everyone at work had been telling me that I looked so tired all the time so I thought that I would get a quick fix (lots of sleep was not an option). At first the results seemed great, but after the first day I noticed that one eye seemed to look better than the other side. A few days later I realized that I had little bumps under my eyes when I smile. One cheek seems to be higher than the other and I feel like I look worse than I did before I had the procedure done. I'm hoping it goes away. I will not be doing this again.
