What is Radiofrequency Rejuvenation?

Radiofrequency (RF) Rejuvenation heats skin's deeper layer
Induces collagen development and skin contraction
   Improves wrinkles and skin laxity
When we are treating wrinkles or aged skin we have a number of options available to us. Most involve stimulating the body's natural healing response by delivering heat or light to the skin's layers. Radiofrequency rejuvenation does this by utilizing radiofrequency energy to heat the skin's deeper layers.

The goal is to stimulate collagen development which will make the skin look firmer and more youthful, as well as to produce some contraction of the skin to improve the looseness of the skin.

There are a number of devices on the market today designed to do this. Two of the most common are ThermageTM and AlumaTM.
