Plasma Skin Regeneration

   New technique for skin rejuvenation
Stimulates body’s natural processes to improve collagen and texture
   Recovery time is typically minimal
Treats wrinkles, laxity, and skin discoloration

Plasma Skin Regeneration (PSR) is a newly develop skin rejuvenation technique which uses nitrogen plasma to stimulate the natural regenerative processes of the skin. PSR delivers plasma energy deep into the dermis while leaving the skin's surface intact for several days following treatment. A newly formed epidermis emerges as the old layers begin to shed off. With less trauma to the surface layers than ablative procedures, healing is quicker as the body's own skin acts as a dressing over the wound, thus creating a wound-healing response without a wound.

Does it Hurt?

PSR can also be used in a non-ablative method at very low energies, and what's interesting about that treatment is that people feel a lot of inflammation and warmth, which is indicative of a strong healing response, but they feel very little during the actual treatment. Recovery time is also generally minimal.

What can it Treat?

Plasma may be used to treat:
  • fine, moderate, and deep wrinkles
  • skin tone, texture and elasticity
  • skin discoloration
  • benign lesions

Treatment Overview

Usually a patient will need a series of treatments at three to six week intervals with anywhere from four to eight treatments and the improvement can last from months to years. Improvement is really a function of how much damage our skin receives from the sun during that time. Treatment can create the improvement but we're still going out into the sun and exposing ourselves to the elements, we're still receiving damage. Other treatments for rejuvenation include: Laser Skin Resurfacing, Fractional Laser Resurfacing, IPL, Radiofrequency Rejuvenation, Plasma Skin Regeneration or Injectables/ Dermal Fillers.
