West Palm Beach
At first glance, West Palm, as it is known, is the typical Florida city, but also
the oldest one that was incorporated in South Florida. Initially it was a servant
city built for those that worked in the two hotels across Lake Worth. But nowadays
it is also a modern bustling city, with all the facilities needed, including clinics
to remove those pesky wrinkles from your face and look younger for a longer period
of time.
Non-ablative laser rejuvenation or the ablative laser skin resurfacing are just
two of the methods used to take care of the wrinkles that form inside the deep layers
of the skin on the cheeks, around the mouth or on the forehead. Of course, there
are risks of burns or scars, so make sure your doctor has experience in this area
and the most up-to-date lasers.
After a series of treatments you can go without worries at the SunFest, the best
known festival in the city, where artists like Jon Secada, Ray Charles, Lenny Kravitz,
Dizzy Gillespie, Bob Dylan, No Doubt, Kenny G, Cyndi Lauper, Pink Floyd and The
Wailers have performed along the years. Or take your family at the National Horse
Show, the oldest horse show in America or to play polo, golf or croquet.
If you don’t want to risk the laser rejuvenation, try Intense Pulsed Light (IPL),
a treatment that uses light (but not lasers) to remove all the creases, lines and
“spider” veins. In just 30 minutes your skin will begin to look better, younger,
so you will look your best when attending the Palm Beach International Film Festival.
Or go at the famous Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction and buy a classic car,
expensive, but worth the price, just like your anti-wrinkle treatments.
Of course, if you don’t have that much time to spend in a doctor’s cabinet, go for
fast chemical peels or microdermabrasions. These don’t have any side effects, nor
swell the skin; they will just give your skin a smoother look, event though the
deeper problems remain and can only be removed with other types of treatments.
