I had sculptra injections about 2 months ago and I really love the results. I was swollen and bruised for about 10 days, but it was well worth it. I had the injections done by a plastic surgeon who came highly recommended. He told me to massage the area 2 times a day for 5 to 6 weeks, I did and I had no lumps at all. I truly believe that if you do your research, go to someone qualified, and follow the doctors directions exactly in the after care, you will have great results!

I thought that for how much I paid and how harsh the treatment was, that I would notice a significant change. I don't have the money to do any more treatmetns right now.

After four treatments, I am happy with the results.I had a tiny bit of swelling and redness right after the injections, and a little bit of small bruises appeared after a day or two, but they went away within days. Overall the procedure worked great for me.

I did a bunch of research and sculptra seemed to have a ton of good reviews online and it is supposed to last much longer than any other fillers so that is why I chose it. After the injections, I was lumpy and noticed some skin discoloration around the injected areas. That has all since gone away and I look much better now than I did before, but it wasn't worth going through that period of time when I felt like I couldn't leave the house.

After doing a ton of research and reading about a million reviews, I made an appointment with my dermatologist. She injected one syringe in the folds around my mouth and nose (I could only afford that at the time). It was a little bit painful, but the pain only lasted a second. There was a little bit of swelling and redness, but that went away after a couple of days. I am going to be going back in a couple of weeks to get my cheeks done. It's that good.

My doctor suggested Restylane. He didn't use any numbing cream so that I could get the maximum effect, so there was a little bit of pain, but overall it wasn't that bad.
My face had definitely perked up, and a lot of my co-workers keep asking me if I cut my hair or if I lost weight, they can't figure it out! I am really happy with this procedure.

I went in for laser skin resurfacing after being fed up with looking so much older than I am. I was a smoker for a number of years, and spent much of my teens and 20's in the sun, so it is not surprising that people mistake me for a grandma when I am out with my daughter (I am only 45). I had the procedures done about 2 months apart from one another, to allow time to heal, and time for me to be able to pay for it. Now, after having 2 treatments, I am really happy. My wrinkles are all but gone, and I had some deep ones forming around my eyes and mouth, and the sun spots are all faded as well. I will be taking good care of myself from here on out.

I had been looking through some photos from a vacation and I noticed how wrinkled my face was and how old that I appeared (especially standing next to my husband, men don't seem to age). It was a little painful, and I had some redness and swelling, but after that went away, I had a gorgeous, wrinkle free face. My results lasted for about 8 months, and then I went in again. The last time that I went, I had hardly any redness or swelling, and I haven't had to go back yet. That was over a year ago. These are amazing results!

I was looking to decrease the appearance of the fine lines that I have around my eyes and mouth, but that didn't happen. I think I actually look older than I did before I had it done. My skin is now super dry and flaking. I am moisturizing 4 times a day to keep the flaking away. I have more fine lines around my eyes than I did when I started. Not doing this again.

I am 56 years old and over the years I had developed pretty deep creases in the area between my cheeks and nose down to my mouth. I wanted to look 10 years younger, and I knew that if I had these lines filled in that was sure to take off a number of years.
I consulted a cosmetic dermatologist and together we decided on Radiesse (it is thick and good for filling deeper areas). I had the procedure done about 3 weeks ago and I love the results! I look 10 years younger! I will definitely be doing this again.

I figured if I started early on when I only had a few fine lines, then no one will notice a drastic difference in my appearance later on. I do two areas twice a year, and every time is a success. I'm 44 and recently I had noticed that my crows feet were getting really bad and making me look super aged. I contacted a local spa and decided to have Botox done to correct the problem. Big mistake. It was great for the first week and a half. Almost all of my wrinkles around my eyes were gone. After that though, my smile and facial expressions changed. One side of my mouth just doesn't move. It's horrible! I called my the doctor at the spa and he said it's probably just migration and that it should only last three weeks. Based upon this experience I am not doing Botox again.

I chose to do Portrait to get rid of my wrinkles and improve skin tone and texture for a number of reasons, there's not much downtime involved, the cost is reasonable, and it continues to build collagen even after the procedure.
It definitely hurt during procedure, but then again the nurse did have it on the strongest setting possible. It took about a week to heal, and I turned brown and red before peeling. Overall I was really happy with the procedure. It tightened the area around my eyes and mouth, and left my skin smooth and toned. It was definitely worth it to me.

Yesterday I went in and had Restylane injected under my eyes to fill in under eye circles. Everyone at work had been telling me that I looked so tired all the time so I thought that I would get a quick fix (lots of sleep was not an option). At first the results seemed great, but after the first day I noticed that one eye seemed to look better than the other side. A few days later I realized that I had little bumps under my eyes when I smile. One cheek seems to be higher than the other and I feel like I look worse than I did before I had the procedure done. I'm hoping it goes away. I will not be doing this again.

I was too scared to go in for a full face lift, so after consulting a board certified plastic surgeon, I decided to go in for fraxel treatments to smooth out my wrinkles and even out my skin tone. I had my first treatment today and so far everything seems to be going well. There was some pain involved during the procedure, and now during the recovery process, but the way that i see it is that if fraxel does what it claims to, then the pain is worth it.

I went with a mild one only because I wanted to see how my skin would react and how painful it was. I got so so results. The wrinkles are still there but they are not as noticeable. It has never failed me and I have never had any adverse side effects. My advice- do your research on doctors. Know who is injecting you and start off with a smaller amount to see how your body will react. Most of all, know that you are going to look amazing!
