For several years beforehand I was getting treated between eyes and crows around eyes with Botox, which I love, but Dysport satisfied me longer. I have used the same physician for these injections. She suggested I make the switch. Ice was the only pre-injection numbing agent used. After treatment, my face was very red and very hot to the touch and felt like I had an extreme sunburn. Certainly this should have worked, right? Well, I saw no difference whatsoever and the doctor said it might take another 2 treatments to see the results. I went for my 2nd treatment. No results again. I wasn't about to pay for a 3rd treatment when the first 2 treatments didn't even show the slightest results. I'm actually very surprised at the positive reviews.

It's the same price as Botox, but supposedly it works faster. It's only been 2 days so I can't tell yet. I am only using it to get a little eyebrow lift so I'm hoping it doesn't have the opposite effect after reading some of these reviews. Eventually I would like to get a brow lift, so these injections are a temporary until I can afford the lift. I received 2 injections ($75 total) - one on each "outer" brow. The nurse injector will call me on Friday and said I'm welcome to come back in a week if I don't notice any difference. There will be no charge.

I of course took the coupon and tried the Dysport because the doctor told me it was exactly the same as Botox. No way. After two weeks my eyelid has started to droop and ache. I am sick about it as it sounds like the only thing that can make it better is time and it is really painful. At first, I thought I had perhaps had a stroke in my sleep. It is a horrible drug and I would never ever use it again. It should be reviewed and taken off the market.

I have never had anything done before - ever. As this is my first experience of this type, I researched intensely for more than a year before making the plunge. Yes, while physicians are responsible to inform us, we must be our own advocates for our health and NEVER make uninformed decisions. PLEASE research and make sure before you allow something to be injected into your body. I spoke with several dermatologists, plastic surgeons, RN's, as well as individuals who had chosen Botox and Dysport before making my choice of product and physician. Of particular concern to me was the potential conflict between these injections and medications I take daily. There are contraindications listed for both Botox AND Dysport to many things, which are important to take note of.
I am universally pleased thus far with the Dysport in the weeks since my procedure. I saw almost immediate results. and truly, I was prepared for FAR more pain than the injection involved. The needle is so thin and tiny and the numbing cream is so effective that the injection is reduced to a pin prick. Honestly. Additionally, in terms of redness, soreness, and brusing ~ I experienced a patch of redness on one side of my face (I was treated for crows' feet), but that lasted only about 30 minutes and was very minimal: perhaps the equivalent of looking flushed.
I was given a homeopathic medicine for healing (4 tablets twice a day for 7 days), told to sleep upright for the first 3 days at least, and my doctor used a small amount in the treated areas.
It was a simple, straightforward, low pain procedure with results in evidence almost immediately and quite satisfactory. I am thrilled with my Dysport experience and will be a return client when the effects fade.

When I wear mascara, it looks like I have really good false eyelashes on!! I have never had long eyelashes, and now I do, its great! And I have not experienced any negative side effects. Tried Dysport which I was told was the same as Botox but less expensive: Within two days my left eye drooped. I have since read that dypsort has a higher incidence of spreading and needs to be injected differently than botox. I would never use dysport again.

I rushed to the hospital thinking I had had a stroke. After having a CAT Scan and blood work, it occured to me that I was having a reaction to the dysport so the hospital released me. Per my doctor's instruction I am doing mouth exercises and have noticed a slight improvement(I am 7 weeks post-injection). He told me it should wear off in the next two months so I am trying to be patient...and hopeful!

My doctor suggested Restylane. He didn't use any numbing cream so that I could get the maximum effect, so there was a little bit of pain, but overall it wasn't that bad.
My face had definitely perked up, and a lot of my co-workers keep asking me if I cut my hair or if I lost weight, they can't figure it out! I am really happy with this procedure.

I was a smoker for a number of years, and spent much of my teens and 20's in the sun, so it is not surprising that people mistake me for a grandma when I am out with my daughter (I am only 45). I had the procedures done about 2 months apart from one another, to allow time to heal, and time for me to be able to pay for it. Now, after having 2 treatments, I am really happy. It was great for the first week and a half. Almost all of my wrinkles around my eyes were gone. After that though, my smile and facial expressions changed. One side of my mouth just doesn't move. It's horrible! I called my the doctor at the spa and he said it's probably just migration and that it should only last three weeks. Based upon this experience I am not doing Botox again.

I chose to do Portrait to get rid of my wrinkles and improve skin tone and texture for a number of reasons, there's not much downtime involved, the cost is reasonable, and it continues to build collagen even after the procedure.
It definitely hurt during procedure, but then again the nurse did have it on the strongest setting possible. It took about a week to heal, and I turned brown and red before peeling. Overall I was really happy with the procedure. It tightened the area around my eyes and mouth, and left my skin smooth and toned. It was definitely worth it to me.

Everyone at work had been telling me that I looked so tired all the time so I thought that I would get a quick fix (lots of sleep was not an option). At first the results seemed great, but after the first day I noticed that one eye seemed to look better than the other side. A few days later I realized that I had little bumps under my eyes when I smile. One cheek seems to be higher than the other and I feel like I look worse than I did before I had the procedure done. I'm hoping it goes away. I will not be doing this again.

I was too scared to go in for a full face lift, so after consulting a board certified plastic surgeon, I decided to go in for fraxel treatments to smooth out my wrinkles and even out my skin tone. I had my first treatment today and so far everything seems to be going well. There was some pain involved during the procedure, and now during the recovery process, but the way that i see it is that if fraxel does what it claims to, then the pain is worth it.
