The Hot, New Treatment Doctors are Raving About.

Looking for a treatment that will diminish your wrinkles, improve your skin’s texture and give you back your youthful glow? eMatrix from Syneron® may be an option for rejuvenating your look.

What is eMatrix?

The eMatrix Sublative Rejuvenation treatment is, according to its manufacturer, a unique combination of ablation and skin resurfacing leading to wrinkle reduction, skin tightening and lifting, all with less downtime. That means you’re left with skin that’s taut and smooth, shaving years off your skin after just a few treatments – and hopefully you’ll be turning heads as if you’re 21 again!

But How Does It Work?

Well, eMatrix uses an ergonomic Sublative™ applicator to deliver bipolar radio frequency energy through a matrix of 64 electrodes in the disposable applicator tip. That energy generates fractional deep dermal heating to cause a small amount of injury, creatinga wound healing response. By heating your skin’s deepest layers, eMatrix will cause your skin to repair itself from the inside out, reducing mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discoloration. No more granny-style wrinkling — your skin’s texture will feel more elastic and tight, and look more fresh and youthful. It’s a total transformation that’s quick and painless – you probably spend more (and definitely more effort) time blow-drying your hair!

What to Expect

Beyond expecting to look fabulous? The process works like this: Typically, three eMatrix treatments are done, about four to six weeks apart, and each treatment can take between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on the area of the face, and how many areas you want treated. Though the average is three, the total number of required treatment sessions depends on the skin condition of the patient; so work with your doctor to determine a plan that’s right for your skin. During treatment, you may feel a warm, prickly sensation; your doctor may use a topical anesthetic or cooling ointment to reduce the feelings if they’re bothering you. After treatment, a pink or red “sunburn” appearance and feeling is pretty common, but should subside in a matter of days.

After your treatment, you’re sure to notice many more heads turning in your youthful, glowing direction! You’ll also notice increased levels of beneficial collagen as new healthy skin cells are produced. Mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discolorations will be diminished, and the texture of your skin becomes smoother and more elastic. You can rest assured that you’ll emerge with a refreshed, more youthful complexion with minimal downtime and with no negative side effects. (There have been zero clinical side effects reported to date.)

Who Should Get eMatrix?

According to Syneron the treatment is safe and effective for all skin types. Women and men with mild to moderate wrinkles who are looking to turn back the clock on their skin will benefit, as will those with superficial skin discoloration that they want to see vanish.
