I had two vials of Sculptra to try to regain volume as my cheeks and temples evidenced deflation and flattened with age. I'm very fair skinned and bruise easily; I was bruised for about 2 weeks. I noticed that my thin skin thickened with time (collagen production), which is a great side benefit. But I cannot endorse this product for cheek augmentation. If the product had remain localized in the cheekbone area it would have been great. Unfortunately, with time it tends to dispurse. Juvederm's Voluma is available in Canada. Guess I'll try that next. It's a cross-linked hyloronic acid.

I went in to get my laugh lines filled. It was 550 for one syringe, it hurt even with numbing cream, but knowing what I would look like after was the motivation that I needed. I have a great doctor who explained everything that I should expect, and so I think that helped. I will be doing this again for as long as I need to.
